Fees for Scouts are payable in two parts. Each youth member pays an annual membership fee to their
state branch, and group fees paid directly to their local group. From time to time there may be an extra
charge to cover activities or special events such as a camp or Jamboree.
Annual Scouts WA Membership
This covers insurance, leader training, administration and continual improvements to the Scouts Australia
program. This is paid at the date you start your membership and lasts for 12 months. The Branch
membership fees are available here: https://scoutswa.com.au/youth-program/
Local Group Fees
This fee covers the cost of equipment, supplies, maintenance and general running costs. This is paid
directly to the Scout Group in quarterly instalments.
