At the core, Scouts is a volunteer organisation. The success and vibrance of Fremantle Sea Scouts is generated from the parents, friends and community who contribute what they can to gift our youth members a valuable opportunity to build lifelong skills and friendships.
Leaders do an amazing job of running each section. The committee is their support crew to keep the group thriving.
We’re all busy – lean in if you can and meet the great bunch of doers behind the scenes.

Here’s some reasons to join a committee
:: Expand your network: Form relationships and connections.
:: Demonstrate and develop leadership: You don’t have to be the chair to show leadership, show your kids service-in-action.
:: Acquire new knowledge and skills: Committee work provides learning opportunities.
:: Commitment to the cause: Being part of a committee supports the scout mission.
:: Increase networks: Committee meetings allow you to connect with others.
OTHER WAYS TO HELP
We’re always looking for people to help out with
:: Hall Hire – Assist with answering SpacetoCo inquiries, opening hall and making sure keys are available.
:: Gardening – We have a great location and reticulation but we need some help to keep everything going.
:: Assistant Leaders – Just a little bit of help allows you to be closer to your child and their growth!
:: Sailing Bosun – Fleet management and boat maintenance
:: Fellowship – Work with others to repair and maintain boats and equipment.
