Group Presentation Day

Presentation event & Annual General Meeting
Having had to cancel our end of year presentation day last year, we have rescheduled to Saturday
Parents, families and friends are invited to join with the Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and
Leaders, along with some invited dignitaries, to acknowledge special achievements and
contributions, food, games and the Group’s Annual General Meeting.

12:30-3:30 pm Sailing
Youth members are invited to participate in usual Saturday sailing program.
(Joeys and Cubs must have a parent present)
3:30 pm Youth Members to arrive in Full, neat Uniform. Guests arrive
4.00pm Group Parade
We will be investing some special members of the Group, acknowledging
significant achievements of our Group members throughout 2023, conducting a
linking ceremony for some of our older Cubs progressing to Scouts, thanking our
supporters and giving out some special awards!
We plan to be outside for parade. Please dress accordingly.
4:30 pm Youth members – camp cooking demonstration

A quick report to the parents on the year that has gone and plans for 2024.
ALL FAMILIES of the Scout Group MUST have at least one parent present.
Supervised camp cooking demonstrations will be undertaken by youth members
whilst parents are attending the AGM. The delicious results will be available for all
to enjoy at the conclusion of the meeting.
5:15 pm Afternoon tea / Sausage Sizzle / BYO sundowner
Join us for a sausage sizzle (gold coin donation).
Soft drinks and juice available for purchase ($1 per can).
Take the time to meet and chat with other Group family members and take a look
at displays of memorable moments from the year inside the hall.

5:30 pm Scout Program concludes.
Feel free to join Leaders, parents and friends for a Sundowner at the hall.
BYO food, drinks and chairs. BBQs provided.
Enjoy some fellowship at our fantastic riverside location while the sun goes down.
Children / youth members will be the sole responsibility of parents after 5.30 pm.
