Fathers’ day fundraiser sausage sizzle Fremantle Car rally

Need adults on the BBQ – Can not expect kids to Understand food handling. Need to get everything before hand and then get it all to the trailer.

We have a Fathers’ day fundraiser sausage sizzle at a Car rally on 3rd Sept .

We have several important jobs in this Car Club organised event and we need your help.

• Early in the morning (7am) Parents help set up the bbq / stalls.

• Once the Rally starts, Parents and family members operate the two BBQ (sausage in a bun and Bacon and Cheese burgers) stalls for all the hungry rally patrons.

10 Am the Rally opens to the public.

We can promote the group and scouts during the event

• At the conclusion of the Rally Scouts, cubs and adults help to clean and dismantle the BBQ Trailer stalls.

For the above job we should raise considerably better money for the group than a Bunnings or similar and we contribute to the community. This goes towards operating the Scout Group for the benefit of your children. Purchase of badges for uniforms, materials for the hall, repairs to sailing and camping equipment and subsidizing the Group Camp.

For the BBQs we ask all scout parents and family members to volunteer a few hours of their time. After a few hours of serving the patrons of the Rally you can then enjoy the Rally yourselves.      

So that we can to put a roster together can you please reply to me with your preferred time and how many helpers you can supply. (Partners, Children etc.)

We will need at least 3 volunteers or families for to man the BBQ’s (i.e. Lots of people).

Even if you can only manage an hour or two it will be much appreciated. Please advise us of when you are available.

Please respond as soon as possible. Early responders will get their chosen times.

We need community support and those who organise this well known event will appreciate our support so lets get in and support them so we in turn can support your children in the world wide game of Scouting.
